Ah yes, it's that time again....getting on Spring when only one thing is on your mind...Water Polo starts again.
We now switch to Nowra Pool ,starting time this Wednesday (24th October)for Flippaball is 5pm and 6 pm Juniors followed by Seniors....a sausage sizzle will keep us fed.
Registration dates are the 24th and the 31st of October at the Nowra Pool Complex.
One of the team leaders will be taking and recording registrations as the rest of us enjoy a sumptuous feast of water polo skills, er....we've forgotten.
Good news for once...we have been given special dispensation by NSW Water Polo to reduce the Adult fees to $60...calling it Adult Flippaball
Proposed fees for this coming summer are:-
Open $120 (Intraclub and you want to represent the Shoalhaven.......most of this goes to NSWWP mainly for insurance )
Open (Adult Flippaball) $60 (for those adults who only want to play intra club and not represent)
Juniors $60 (born 1.1.90 or later) for the first child, thereafter $55 ( and for more than 20 siblings we'll take another dollar off)
Flippa Ball $30
The AGM date is proposed to be 31st October, 6pm ....and we'll probably make it fancy dress .
Equipment purchases will include new balls,whistles.....and guess what??? the scoreboard and shot clocks have been completely
rebuilt...and may even be waterproof.
We have our proposed social tournament for December 1 and 2....we gots to check with NSWWP first.
Kirrawee High School have offered to come on down to the Shoalhaven to play us,and or train with us.
